Dr. Anna Parnes
My Approach:
I view therapy as a collaborative process and work together with you to determine our treatment goals and identify approaches that may be useful for you or your child. Our working relationship is a key element of the therapy process, and I integrate a range of evidence based treatments, such as DBT, ACT, and CBT, depending on your needs. I am committed to promoting resilience and development of healthy and positive coping, and I take a strengths based approach to therapy while supporting you in managing and addressing challenges that brought you to therapy.
I am currently providing telehealth and limited in office sessions. I am also happy to see you or your child outside or go for a walk during session if movement or being outside is more healing or productive for you.
Services provided:
I provide individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, young adults and adults. I offer group therapy for teens and young adults. I also provide parent coaching for parents seeking support and strategies for positive parenting.
